I recently bought this rack and have used it to carry 2 adult mountain bikes. I found the rack easy to set up and install. I like how you can fold down the 'arms' when it's not holding the bikes, and it stores easily in my car's trunk when not in use.
The straps stay tight and secure and I traveled many miles of highway and regular roads with the bikes and they stayed put.
I recommend getting protectors to help keep 2 bikes from scratching each other, as I noticed the bikes had scratched each other a little.
