$*$ Michelin City Mountain Bike Tire with Protek

Id' like to comment on some other reviewers comments:

"VERY poor choice for anything loose. gravel, dirt, etc." While I primarily bike on paved roads, to get to a paved road I have to go up a steep incline in my crushed stone driveway, ride 100 yds. on a very rough dirt shared driveway, and then cross a loose gravel shoulder. I just switched from 37mm hybrid tires with a typical tread to these 28mm tires, and see no difference in handling. Obviously, if you get into a long stretch of deep loose gravel you are into trouble, but so are you with any bike tire.

"The Michelins ... should only be inflated to 73psi". The revered Sheldon Brown states that the pressure limits on a tire are the results fo a negotiation between the marketing and legal departments, and that tires are tested at double the stated upper limit. At 150 pounds I'm running 88 psi in the rear tire. and wouldn't hesitate using more pressure if I weighed more.

I have no complaints with this tires, but so far only have a few 100 miles on them.
