The biggest issue I have with this is the fact that it just isn't smooth at al. It jerks back and forth a lot. I feel like if I want to work out on it, I have to go "backwards" because "forwards" is so jerky. Backwards is a little better on mine for some reason. With the jerking, I don't feel like I'm working out. It feels like I'm stopping and starting. It's so aggravating. It's also pretty noisy and I do not feel like this is a sturdy machine at all. It feels like it's going to fall apart.
I will say that after working out for a few minutes, you definitely feel it in your legs, and I definitely work up a sweat, but I don't feel like I get as good of a workout as I would just going out to speed walk. I live in South Florida, and the summers are horrible heat-wise, so I was looking for something to keep me in shape without having to workout outside. I wish I had just invested in a regular elliptical or a treadmill. This was a waste of money, in my opinion, and I wish I hadn't bothered to spend the money.
