These are the first pair of ASICS that I've ever owned. I'm 285 lbs, wear a size US 14, and have a history of knee problems. I ordered these to replace a pair of New Balances that got to the point to where I could barely run half a mile without developing a horrible case of shin splints. I have had these now for about 3 weeks and they are great! I've had almost 4 mile days and a couple hours later, my feet feel like I've been sitting on the couch all day. I will definitely be buying ASICS again after using these.
