The stand is excellent, it holds the dumbells without giving or swaying even when your body weight leans over the dumbells during positioning. This is the second stand I have purchased, the first stand holds my 552 dumbell set (now going on two years). Very well designed for saving your back during lifting. The only difference from my previous stand is that this one does not have a chrome finish, otherwise it is great.
